Restored and extended character villa with pool

Villa Mimosa offers you an away-from-it-all holiday within easy reach of shops, beaches and nightlife. Perfect for couples or families, this still unspoilt region of Italy offers a welcome change for people used to the sophisticated North of Italy, along with delicious food and superb wines.

Villa Mimosa is built in a protected agricultural zone, so if you are hoping for hustle and bustle, you will be disappointed.
Although secluded, the villa is close enough to the town to be able to see it through the trees and from the roof, to hear the local drum band practicing in the distance one evening a week, and to hear if there are any festivities going on in the town (5 minutes drive and you can join in!) However, a car is essential.
This recently extended villa features stella volte ceilings to 4 rooms, two covered terraces offering perfect al fresco dining, plus a roof terrace. The accomodation comprises 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (2 ensuite), kitchen, dining room and sitting room, all with new furniture. The kitchen is well equipped and includes cookery books.
69 olive trees surround the house, ranging in age from a few years to in excess of 450, plus fig, prickly pear, almond, apple, white mulberry, pear, pomegranate, apricot, orange, lemon and grapes.
The 12 metre by 6 metre pool, which is perfect for swimming or playing, is cleaned twice a week.
This is an ideal base for visiting Ostuni, Lecce, Alberobello and Otranto to name a few. Ostuni is the perfect place to eat, with its huge selection of wonderful restaurants, or if you prefer to overlook the sea, Santa Sabina is a short drive away.
We provide a Meet-and-Greet service and a Welcome Pack, with housekeepers Chris and Norman and gardener Vincenzo on call to deal with any queries which may arise.
